November 15th - 16th 2021, Paris
The 4th International Conference on Reliability, Safety and Security of Railway Systems will be held on the 15th and 16th of November 2021, in the International Union of Railways Congress Center in Paris.
Development of the complex railway systems of the future requires integrated environments and methods that support different abstraction levels and multiple views, encompassing systems architecture, safety analysis, security analysis, verification methods and tools.
In the context of the integration of railway systems into larger multi-mode transport network, of increases in the complexity of railway application and in the degree of automation in railway systems, the conference aims to bring together railway systems researchers and developers, in order to ensure that advances in research are driven by the real needs of the railway. Its other aims are :
to help develop technology that is usable, scalable and deployable
to support the provision and utilisation of advanced methods and tools
to present novel methods for modelling, analysis, verification and validation
to identify mechanisms and procedures which support evidence cases that standards are being met
RSSRail adresses challenges such as the improvement of railway systems safety, security and relibility, the reduction of production costs, time to market and running costs, the increase of railway systems capacity and reduction of their carbon emissions.
The RSSRail conferences bring together researchers and engineers interested in building critical railway applications and systems. They are working conferences in which research advances are discussed and evaluated by both investigators and developers, focusing on their potential to be deployed in industrial settings.
Submitted papers are reviewed by an international reviewing commitee composed of experts from both industrial and academic institutions.
